New Trust launched February 27th 2007 The Trust working with Serco will run the SNC owned leisure centers and pools in Brackley and Towcester. Ian Phelps (Serco Leisure Director), Terry Ward (Chair of the new Trust), and Councillor Sandi Smallman (Leisure portfolio holder at SNC) are pictured signing the contracts setting up the Trust, which has charitable status.

Terry Ward, a former bank manager in Brackley used to coach swimming at international level and still commentates on swimming events accross the country. He said " The charitable status of the trust will provide cost savings in the operation of the leisure centers to the benefit of both ratepayers and the users of the facilities. The Trust board consists of a broad spectrum accross the community, unified by the keen desire to improve leisure facilities in our area"
